Searching on Marketplace

I hope this is the right place to start this topic.  If it isn't, please let me know.

I am not brand new to SL, been on here over 2 years, and have bought many items from the Marketplace.

I am looking for human horse/pony tails.  When I search for pony tail, much of what comes up is pony tails for hair.

Am I using the wrong terms for searching?  I have seen plenty of pictures of SL ponies use and wear them, so I know they exist.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You can try other things to modify your search too.  After you get the results, select a sub-category (something other than women's hair!)  You can also exclude results by using the Boolean operators AND, OR, and NOT.  Type them in ALL CAPS, for example "Pony OR Horse tail NOT hair NOT hairstyle"

Try limiting your search to Avatar Accessories>Furry Accessories:

Alternatively, you can also use Google advanced search, which I often find quicker and easier than Marketplace search.

Either use Google's Advanced Search form or if you are familiar with the Google search operators, you can use the main Google search box:

From your use of the term 'human/pony' Im going to assume you are talking about pony play not furries, so, the category to search in is avatar "accessories/bdsm accessories" if my memory serves me correctly, or you can just search for "Morbid Play" or "Mesmerize dungeon" as those are the two big brands.

Searching for pony tail in that category brings up 80 hits... Oh and make sure you have set your search preferences to show 'adult content' as pony play tends to be classified as such.

There is a dedicated category for tails. Avatar Components » Cosmetic Enhancements » Ears & Tails

You can try limiting your search to that category on the Marketplace to see if you get better results.
