Sentences and buying duplicates

Just today when I type in SL..  my sentences duplicate... also when I have bought items today...  it bought them twice... I relogged..  didn't help.. and uninstalled and installed again.. didnt help..

What can I do to stop this?

This usually indicates a problem with your internet connection.

Side note - your account history will show the double purchase and if you send that info in a notecard to the creator, they will usually refund for the second purchase.  If it is a 'transfer' item, you'll have to also give it back.
