Have you muted yourself? Click View / Mute List.

Hello butifol not know if it's possible to mute yourself.
Check the list of mute as told. (View> Mute List)
Select your name and click on unmute.

I think your problem goes beyond not see your name in chat you might see "you  instead of the name.

This is preference of the Phoenix (or similar).
Go preference, tab phoenix chat tab.
Uncheck "Use you instead of your name in your chat"

Could this have to do with the setting in Me->Preferences->General where you select whether you want to see your own name, group names, display names? I think you can select not to see your own name, and I wonder if this also affect local chat.
