Haven Heartsong
Hi Is it possible for the officers of a group to share the tier equally for land held by that group? Can they be billed separately by LL for the land they hold in common?
0 Rolig Loon
No, but you can make that agreement among yourselves.

0 Lindal Kidd
Yes, certainly. Let's say you have a group of four people, and the group owns a 5068 m2 parcel. (This is the maximum size mainland parcel that a group can own, while paying tier at the 4096 level, or $25 USD per month. Calculated as follows: 4096 + 512 (premium bonus) x 1.10 (group tier bonus). To cover this tier, each group member must contribute 1024 m2 of tier to the group, for a total of 4096 m2. The bonuses will be figured automatically. Each group member will be billed for their 1024 contribution. You might think that would be $8 per month according to the tier table, but remember, each person who is Premium gets a 512 m2 tier bonus. So they will be billed for 512 m2 of that 1024, or $5 per month. Unless I've figured it wrong, of course! Be careful with group owned land that depends on several people's tier donations! If someone leaves the group, the other members must increase their donations to cover the land fees. You'll get a warning message about this if the group's donated tier drops too low.
