what are the differences in membership plans ?

i dont understand the membership plans. like basic, and then premium... why do you upgrade ? could someone please tell me what each membership includes ?? im new and confused.

Separate from the membership plans are the two modes in which you can run the SL viewer:  Basic and Advanced.  There is no cost difference between them (both are free), but just be aware which mode you are entering when you log into SL.
