And now, more thrilling adventures in Random Asked Questions.:
Today's question is brought to you by the fine people at Mega-Low Mart.

And the question is: What do you wish people would stop asking you?

Is that your real name? And So, do you come here often?

You stayed home? No wonder you haven't answered my emails.

Someone left her phone at home this morning.  Again.
It is Monday after all ... forgetting my phone is almost tradition now.

No work today, four day weekend.

You need a wrist-strap for that thing.

Aren't you a little short for a storm-trooper?

The first time I ever got properly suited up for a cleanroom— hood, facemask, goggles and the full-on bunny suit—in an all white outfit of course, I looked in the mirror to make sure I'd covered everything and that was the very first thing that popped into my mind.

It's possible I have screened Episode IV a few too many times.

Skell, darling :x

Just realized I was not following your Flickr - this has been remedied!

Hey, lady! Good to see you here. Stunning avatar pic, too ;)

"Are you busy?"

No. I'm just running around like the proverbial blue-arsed fart because I have absolutely nothing to do. What would you like to add to my apparently non-existent workload?

You got white ones? Mine were always blue. I was so disappointed. I guess at least the masks were white, and we had rather sporty-looking goggles. Nitrile gloves: always fun until they split and then good luck getting a fresh pair on over swollen, sweaty hands in a hurry on the clean side of the changing room before you legged it back in! Flapping your hands around to dry them never works, although making chicken noises* while you do it can alleviate the desire to curse loudly. I'm no longer working in that sector, but I have fond memories of it.

(*I really should edit "It always ends in chickens" back into my signature here... It's kinda traditional.)

In other news, poor Skell worked all weekend (chorus of "Awww!", if you please) including nine sodding hours on his feet yesterday, followed by a walk home in the rain. Collapsed on the couch with a beer and fell asleep in front of the telly. Livin' the life, yo. *snores*

Is there a way to size videos down some?

Usually, with regular pictures, after it is inserted into the message, you can click on the pic and it will select it and give you the sizing nodes.  Not totally sure if this works for video links.  Also, I say 'usually' because I have had times where no matter what it would not let me resize the pic.

I wish they'd stop asking me, "What do you wish people would stop asking you?" ;-)

Naw, teasing. I can't think of a good answer, though. I really don't mind many questions. I guess the only ones I don't are the ones where someone could have very quickly answered it themselves with 5 seconds and google.

I think the question I dislike the most is "What do you know about Macs?"  It is not the question itself.  Go ahead and ask.  The answer is "virtually nothing."  However it does not matter what I answer because this will be followed up by a description of their problem.

On another note, it's Tuesday and the spice coffee must flow!

What do you wish people would stop asking you?

How about what do I wish they would stop telling me instead of actually asking?

Those IMs I get that say "come"

What is wrong with "Would you like to come see me?"

I still won't come but at least you arn't going to get blocked.

I am a Mac user, and get the opposite. I get "You know a lot about computers, right? Why does my Windows 10 keep doing this thing?"

Also, the SL version, "Why does Firestorm do this?" (I use the official client)
