I have a brand new premium accout. How long till i receive my 1000L$ as a sign on.

I got a premium account. How long till we get the 1000L$. The ad implied that it was immediate, as no waiting period was specified. Also, when do we start getting the 300L$ weekly allowance? No mention of a waiting period was shown on this either.

Can't remember for certain, but I think it's either 30 or 45 days.  You'll start to get the L$300/week stipend immediately though (on Tuesdays).

Edit: It's 45 days according to http://secondlife.com/landing/premium — "*L$1,000 sign up bonus will be deposited 45 days after premium membership sign up."

Weekly stipends are paid on Tuesdays for everyone, the 1000L Bonus is paid after 45 days.

I think the reason for the 45 days is that if you are paying monthly you would have to pay at least 2 months to get it, otherwise people would be just signing up for a bargain priced 1 month deal all the time.
