hello, i am having a serious problem...I have one friend on my list that says he can't see when i'm online and he  cant read my messages...can you please tell me how to fix this..i have checked everything and it all says this friend can see you online..thank you

Hi Honey! (Golly, that brings back memories of my long-ago marriage ;-).

It could be you've accidentally blocked your friend? I thought that sending an IM to someone removed them from your blocked list, but perhaps that's not the case. You can find the Blocked list in the Communications (SL Viewer) / Comm (Firestorm) menu.

There is an intermittent bug that causes friends online not to show up. As best I remember it is caused by a combination of slow or noisy connection and busy region server. A relog may resolve it.

The problem has been around forever. In the last year work has been done to resolve it. But, it still happens from time to time. (Google)
