There is no sound.  Is there something wrong.  Every time I teleport to a new location, it says No Media Plug in found.  I am runniing Linux Mint 18.1  with a second generation intel 2600 I7 chip.

ohh :) ive been there before, you need to swap your audio driver out , i dont remember the speicifcs but most linux distros come with 2 defaults for audio ouput, you need to swap to the other audio output device... ill dig what i can - sec\\

  • headphone or microphone type (USB, via soundcard etc.)
  • the sound system architecture you are using: ALSA, ESD, or OSS
  • the specific sound card driver your sound system is using (for example: snd_hda_intel)

yes i specifically remember "switching from alsa to a different sound driver" ,

and another time "portaudio crashing" issues/

good luck!
