iam having seriously bad lag

iam having seriously bad lag, not been in sl long but had no trouble at all for days, but lastnight this guy asked me if i wanted a avatar pic making & sent me one to see what he had done, since then from teleporting to the next place i cant load in at all, its driving me crazy, i really dont know if the guy has anything to do with the problem but i really dont know why it happened all of a sudden, can anyone help?

I think is just coincidence as I see no reason why a simple pic would cause you permanent lag. Most of the time lag is client side, make sure your graphics settings are set appropriatly to the level your machine can handle. Lower your draw distance also helps. Try other third party viewers.
