Is there a list of real life international brands / university/ charity I can find in SL?

I want to inspect the RL international brands SL presence. Before doing so, I need the list of the company names and address in SL. Also, I am intereted in the university presence in SL, do anyone can give me some advise? I know I can search the name of those RL brands, but there is no point to point link and lots of weird shopping malls come out from the list. Those shopping malls use the RL brand names but they seem like without the RL brands permission.

Whenever I have seen RL companies in SL (especially big ones) they tend to get their own sim and name the sim with their company name. I have been to Reebok, Nissan & others but I`m not inworld atm to check if they are still there.

Try typing the names in the Map instead of search, it will cut out the malls.

The Universities I think there is a list of, I`m sure someone will come and long and post where that is

Take a look at THIS SITE for the best current list of educational instiutions in SL.  It is far from complete, unfortunately, because many institutions prefer to set up on closed sims.   Also, that's a wiki, so it really depends on who has bothered to add or remove places from it.  Still, it's what we have.
