If I have enough balance on my account during premium payment, would they still charge my PP/CC?

So I'm about to get premium membership, and I'd like to pay for it using the amount of $ balance I already have on my account, would they still charge me anything on my PP/CC/Skrill during checkout if I have enough balance? (because they require me to choose one of the payment options), thanks.

they will charage your balance, but you always need to keep a paymentmethod active.

Your account has two balances.  There's the $L balance; you can't pay Linden Lab with that, they regard it as "play money."  Reasonable, I suppose, since you can't buy a cappucino at Starbucks with it.

Then there is your $USD balance.  LL will always look here first, when collecting their fees.  If there isn't enough money to cover your bill, then they'll take the remainder out of your registered payment method.

But there IS a way you can pay LL with $L:  sell some $L on the LindeX currency exchange.  The proceeds go into your $USD balance.
