Do you remember that survey that promised L$1000 that we all thought was spam?

Remember? It was on surveymonkey. It didn't ask for anything other than my username, so I did it anyway, and after some digging I found out that the names of the people on the survey were real people so it was either a spammer who did some research or an actual Korean academic with less-than-perfect-English? And it promised L$1000?

I received L$1000 this morning from an avatar with the same username as the chap who posted on the forums and a thank you for participating in his survey.

I think I was about as surprised as anyone by this. I mean, I'd even changed my SL password on a different computer shortly after doing the survey. 

I am not sure what the moral of this story is.

Bummer...this must be the only survey I never took....(*tch* typical)

And I only ever do them because something twisted in me wants to see what questions are being asked, and how, and so I'm compelled to answer just so I can get to the next page.
