Sooooo.... This has me stumped.

you guys know how different avatars have different shapes, and everything is different?
Im not talking about how everyone has different shapes, but how different Avatar mesh bodies, Can only have a certain range of shape, to it. And how others either are close and similar, or completely and utterly different.

I've been trying to make a small Avatar I got Taller. Taller than 4feet and 80 Inches. And... the only Way I was able to do it, was using shapes made for other avatars. The difference is very.. very little though. The maximum I was able to go to with other shapes, was 4'96''.

So... What makes a shape, the shape it is. Or, is there a script in something, that divides your shape by X so you're not freakishly tall, or freakishly tiny? Or is it something else?

Once you attach objects it could be anything.  If I attach a 3 meter tall robot mesh to my avatar I will be 3 meters tall no matter what.  It is the size of the object I'm wearing.

With most mesh bodies, they react to the system sliders to scale accordingly.  How much or how little or even if they react at all is determined by the creator.  You may have heard it called weighted.  This is just an arbitrary value covering how much it scales and every mesh is different.

I mean, yea, that was a given, but thats not what I was asking. I was asking what makes a Mesh body's Shape. Because all mesh body ends up being sized differently if maxed out.

All avatars have an internal "skeleton" that's revised by the shape sliders and normally determines your height, but some specialized avatars either involve a "deformer" that causes the skeleton to fold up or (with some mesh avatars) the mesh can actually change the location of the bones themselves, meaning that the sliders don't have the same range they normally take.

Mesh is an attachment. Since you wear an alpha when you wear mesh, you only see the mesh, not the default avi.

Also, if you wear the shape from another avi, it may use a deformer. A deformer can stretch the avi out far beyond what you can achieve with the sliders. There is a line of werewolf avis that the default avi is really stretched out to the point you could wear it that way and dress up as Slenderman.  It can also fold up you default avi to very small. You should see my alt I use a petite with when I take it off before I use the undeformer script to get her back to normal size or relog.

North American measurements confuse me a lot.

I think 4 feet is 121cm and I think 80 inches is 203.2cm - so that's 323.2cm or 10 feet 7" tall.

96 inches = 8 ft

4 ft + 8 ft = 12 ft

12 feet equals to 3.65 meters.

That's extremely tall. I wonder what kind of avatar you want to make that tall? King Kong?
