Want to log into an old account. Cannot answer the security questions. How activate the account?

A friend has an old account and wanted to log in. He did try "forgot passwort" but wasn't able to answer the

security questions because it's so long ago. What can be done to reactivate the account?

Your friend must file a support ticket as a 'guest' and give the full and correct name (including spelling) of their user name, and explain they forgot the password and security question answer.  If the email connected to this account isn't accessible either than they need to tell them that too and give a current email.  LL will probably ask for proof that the person owns the account and may require RL ID.  They'll tell your friend what they need and where and how to send it.

Next time your friend should write the password, security question and email they used down somewhere.  It's not a good idea to do this on her computer with an indication it's for SL or an avatar in case he or she gets hacked..
