Mesh body won't release old skin.

Purchased a mesh body,  (JOMO VER 2.1)   Body is amazing, but the old skin I previously had seems to "hold-on" giving that part-over-lay-butt-ugly appearance....  This mesh av comes with Body, shapes and skin hud.  I can change all kinds of skins on the hud on the mesh body, but the spotty-overlay of the previous skin will not dissapear.  How do I release other skin(s) so I can see my new wonderfully-rounded mesh body?   Help!!   ...And thanks..!

the answer is: wear the alpha layer.

It has nothing to do with the skin, a base shape and skin can't be taken off, it's always required. You only can hide or replace it.
