your paypal has to be linked to a bankacount and/ or credit card, ánd be verified.

When verified to a bankaccount also have enough funds on the paypal itself.

As Alwin says, be sure PayPal is "verified"...backed up with a credit card or a real life bank account.  This process is done on the PayPal website.

If you use a bank account:  Before you buy anything from Linden Lab, transfer enough money from your bank account to your PayPal balance to cover the purchase.  Linden Lab will not wait for the money to be transferred from your bank, to PayPal, to them.  They require immediate payment.
