No depth of field option, greyed out.

Hello, I am hoping someone can help me.

 

I have never used depth of field before as I am rather new to SL. However after reading about it and wanting to try it I have noticed the option to enable it is greyed out or does not let me enable it.

 

How can I fix this?

In Firestorm, you go to World/Photo and video then choose photo tools. You do have to have your enable windlight/Atmospheric settings on. The Depth of Field is a function of Windlight and is for taking pictures, not just wandering around since only the person/thing you are focused on will be in focus and everything around it will be out of focus.

• In Preferences/Graphics, is the Advanced Lighting Model checked in the Shaders area?
• Is your graphics card up to the task?  Older ones, and especially machines using integrated graphics, may not be.

Unfortunately I am unable to use advanced lighting model. Always makes all textures jagged edged very badly and antialiasing doesn't help it. I belive my graphics is not good enough. I have intel graphics 4600 chip So i guess Im unable to have all the goodies others do.
