If it was returned to you, then it did make it back.  It probably came back in one lump, though, packaged together as a coalesced object.  Take a look at the most recent things in your Lost & Found folder.  There will be one with an icon that looks like a small stack of blocks.  That's it.  Go to a sandbox, stand somewhere near the middle, and rez it.  Then pick up each of the items individually and put them back in your inventory.

Was it no copy stuff? there's a good chance that even though it might have been returned to you it simply vanished in to the ether never to be seen again
