The suggestions in that article will almost always cure bake fail.  If you find that it happens often, though, you may need to pay attention to your Internet connection.  Stay away from wifi.  Connect only with a DSL or direct cable connection.  Reboot your router and your modem to get a solid grasp on an IP address.
