Since this is apparently a thing now, if I had gone to this place I've never heard of and took a picture tonight, this is what it would look like.

Very distinguished, if a bit severe-looking. Do you have to buff the top a lot? ;):P

Yes but don't judge me if I have 1 green ear, a blue tail, 3 pairs of shoes and no hair!

I'm breaking into a sweat just imagining this.

I meant to tempt you with a pic of this over the weekend but I was too busy killing myself getting sunburned repairing a fence.

I'm such a tease!

Well, I was dumped into the water using the landmark I had (at least it wasn't the older landmark).  After a lovely swim, I wandered in and chatted at Bartender Jay (I would have chatted with him, but he is not a very good conversationalist) and tried out the dance pole (again Jay is a bit hard to tempt into conversation).

Funny you should say that ...

I have a "Bartender" script I worked on that has a few hundred conversation starter questions.  If 2 or more people are around it will ask a random question from a random person.  The more people and the more open chat is being used the less frequent his random questions will happen.  Also, at any time you can touch the bartender to ask for a question.  You can also tell it to shut up and it will stop asking questions for a while.

I can't remember what all I did to it.  I think you can increase or decrease the rate from chat commands.  It has 2 or 3 note cards of questions and you can make more.

Anyway, the scripts are done and tested but I don't have a suitable figure.  It is loaded in an elf statue or something like that from when I was testing it.

The Bartender told me that she couldn't voice right now, her Mom was home.

I set it out.  Right now it is a wood sphere stuck on one corner of the bar.

It will only ask a random question if there are 3 or more people present and no more than once every 8 minutes.

The read me for it is in closed below

*======================================*
*    Quick instructions on using Rhonda's Bartender
*               Do not remove this note card.
*         It must be the top notecard in the object..
*======================================*

WHAT DOES IT DO?
The bartender gives out random questions to help spark
conversations.  Touching the bartender will cause it to ask
a random question.  It will also ask a random nearby person
a question after several minutes delay if not touched. If there
are less than 3 people it will not ask random questions but
will respond if touched or asked for a question.

HOW DO I SET IT UP?
In the script, the top line is the standard delay in seconds. It
is not necessary to change this but you may.  The best part
of setting it up is to add note cards of questions.  You may
edit the included cards or create your own. They are simply
one question per line with no special format.  It is best to
keep note cards to less than 70 lines to avoid some script
memory problems.

HOW DO I USE IT?
Set it out somewhere people will gather to chat.  Touch it to
get a random question or just ignore it.  It will ask a question
from someone nearby every 8 minutes (default).

You can also interact with the bartender through chat.
Bartender commands must start with "Bartender" or the
command will not be recognized.  The word bartender along
with most of the commands are not case sensitive.  To give
a command, start by addressing the bartender and saying the
command phrase in chat.  You can say "bartender on tap" for
a complete command but it is more immersing to speak in
full sentences. "Bartender, what do you have on tap today?"
will also process the command.

Current commands:
- shut up (adds 5 minutes to the random question timer)
- speak up (set random question time to default)
- ask me (ask the speaker a question and reset the timer)
- on tap (say what note cards are in inventory)
-  <name>  (This is a notecard name said when asked what
is "on tap".  Unlike other commands, this one is case
sensitive.  So if there is a notecard named Silly in
inventory, saying "Bartender load silly" will not work.
You must say "Bartender Silly" or "bartender load up
        the Silly file."

[ETA]

Well duh.  There is a bartender there and I don't have to actually add the scripts to it.
The scripts are in a 100% transparent prim covering the bartender.
If the break or become bothersome, just return the outer prim
