Live Chat is not available today...it's a holiday in the U.S. and most people at Linden Lab are not at work.

Go ahead and file a Support Case.  Then, if you want, you can follow up with Live Chat tomorrow.  Trust me:  Linden Lab doesn't want you to cancel your account, and they'll be happy to help you reverse the cancellation.  Just be a little patient.
