First, be very sure that you walked into the right house.  All the houses in your neighborhood look very much alike, so it's easy to get turned around.  Then, if you did enter the right house, try rezzing things near the middle of the house instead of near the outside walls, especially if they are big objects that might rez partly outside your home.  Finally, be sure that you aren't trying to rez something that will exceed your Land Impact allowance (175 L.I.).  If you have checked all these things and still have trouble, contact Live Chat.
