Everytime I try to use paypal for a payment method..it keeps saying error. Why is this?

I'm going to guess that "it" says something more enlightening than "error", though.  Knowing what it really says could be helpful.  Without that information, I'm going to guess that you either verified the PayPal account with a source that can't supply funds instantly or you don't have a large enough balance in the PayPal account.  Take a look at https://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Billing/ta-p/700037#Section_.7.3
