My landlord says that I need to "deed to group" a radio that I've placed in my house, in order for it to work. I've never heard that phrase before. What does it mean?

Thanks,

Kit

It means that the ownership of that item is technically that of the group you "deed" it to. You need to do this for items that change things like the land media or sound streams if the land is group-owned. It won't be permanent; you should be able to take the item back or have it returned when you leave.

To do this:

1) Rezz out the radio and make sure it's assigned to the land-owning group.

2) Click the check-box in the edit window that says "Share."

3) This should activate the button that says "Deed" next to it. Not all group members are able to deed things to the group but if your landlord wants things done this way they should have given you this ability when you joined the group.
