I didn't receive Lindens after placing an order. Where did they go and how can I retrieve them?

That's because nobody is interested in selling L$ at the price that you offered to buy them.  The LindeX is a currency exchange, not a shop.  If you use the Limit Buy option and specify a buying price that is too low, you could wait forever until some other resident is desperate enough (or dumb enough) to sell at that price. If you were expecting a quick purchase, you should have either set a more reasonable price or placed your order with the Market Buy option.  Your best move right now is to cancel your order (at secondlife.com >>> LindeX >>> Manage >>> LindeX Order History ) and start over.  The money that Linden Lab has been holding for your order will be transferred immediately to the USD balance in your SL account.
