If you have already filed a support case asking for information, that's all you can do, except wait.

There are usually two situations where an account gets put on hold.

1. Your account got compromised (someone else got access to it), generally because you clicked on a link that took you to a web page where you entered your password, and it was stolen by a scammer (phishing).  Then he used your account to commit serious Terms of Service violations.  If you think this has happened to you, you can notify LL...but you must also understand that they hold you responsible for anything that's done with your account, so you might still find that the account will be deleted.
2. You yourself committed serious Terms of Service violations.

An account may also be put on hold if you owe Linden Lab money for unpaid land fees or other obligations.  Check the Transaction History and Account Summary on your dashboard at secondlife.com to be sure.
