If she has not been removed as a group owner, then LL's "solution" was to take no action.  

However, this should not require LL intervention.  All the person has to do is to leave the group.  Once she has left, if she still wants to be part of the group (but not an owner) you can send her a group invitation and assign her a different role.

A note about group ownership:  You should never assign anyone but yourself or your own alt the Owner role in any group you create.  Having multiple owners results in Drama and heartache if/when conflict arises between them.  Keep control of your groups!
