SL taking my Lindens? I was shopping and had 14 lindens left then all of a sudden they went away -1L

I was shopping and had 14 lindens left and a message popped up and said that there was an issue and it was reported and now I have -1L. >:| it may not have been much missing but whats the point of earning it if it is going to be taken away?

Sometimes you will get a false report of your linden while in world.  Best way to check is here on the website.  Go to your Dashboard - Account - Account Summary.  See what your Linden balance is according to that.  If it's different than the one inworld, then two ways to fix the inworld problem.  Once is to log out and then log back in.  The other is to have some one send your 1 linden.  That will usually trigger an update from the server and correct the displayed amount.

On viewer 2.4+ you can click on your balance and it will update it.
