Demonsthenes
How do I fly in a place where flying is not activated? Someone using viewer 1.23 was trying to tell me, but I use the newest viewer. Thank you.
0 Rolig Loon
You don't. Well, actually, that's not true. If you enter the sim flying and are high enough (I think you have to be at least 500m up), then you can keep flying. There are also settings in some of the third party viewers that allow you to override the no-fly restriction. You do that at your own risk, though. The land owner has put that restriction there for a reason. Only the landowner knows what that reason is, but it's his/her choice. If you're caught flying, you can be ejected or banned.
0 Peewee Musytari
The shortcut that worked on viewer 1 does not work on viewer 2 & Rolig is absolutely right that you should respect the settings that people have on their land, afterall they pay for the right to make that decision. 0 Demonsthenes
Thank you I did not know. Tell the land owner that we are sorry.
0 Peewee Musytari
You will find that the majority of places that do not allow flying are some sort of RolePlay areas & they do get very upset when they see someone flying around. You will likely get one warning in IM to stop flying before they eject and ban you. Exploring on foot can be tedious, but to be fair to them they are trying to live in some medieval place (or whatever the theme is) and flying people in the sky spoils their game for them.
