How do i get my computer to have the right time, network and firewall settings?

First, double check both the date and the time.  Some people forget to check the year, which can be reset accidentally by some software, and others have computers that reset the clock if they move from one time zone to another.  Second, as the notice recommends, double check that your firewall is set up correctly.  An update of the firewall software can sometimes change parameters. Third, if neither of those steps helps, do as the note recommends and submit a support case.

BTW, there is another hardware possibility.  Although it is rare, it can happen that the CMOS battery in your computer has failed.  That battery on your motherboard keeps the clock and a few other basic functions alive even after your machine is switched off.  If it has failed, you will probably need professional assistance to replace it.
