When my avi goes to a fully populated sim my graphics and typing get jumpy. How can I fix this?

So this just happened. When I take my avatar to a dance or largely populated sim, my grahics get jumpy, my avatar jumps around, and I have trouble typing in the chat box because there is a delay.

You have discovered LAG.  Avatars are the greatest single cause of lag in SL.  The more crowded a region is, the more of those symptoms you will experience.  There are only a few things that you can do about it.  At the top of the list:

Get a computer with more memory and a better graphics card.

Decrease your draw distance to 128m or lower.

Decrease your Maximum Non-imposter Avatar limit

Decrease your Quality slider

Decrease your Maximum Avatar Complexity slider

Turn off Advanced Lighting
