Blender mesh question for sword.

So i am meshing a sword in Blender and i trying to make a Tassel off the butt of the hilt (Flexi tassel that is). How would i make the tassel (currently a Plane, not cube) into Flexi when in SL? Would i make it "Flexible Path" in features even though the tassel has no bones?

You cannot make imported mesh flexi. The easiest way is to use a prim set to flexi. You can then apply an uploaded texture to that prim.
