My interface is missing the top menu options. Any idea why?

I have downloaded second life into my computer.  I can move through the worlds ok, but I do not have a top menu bar.  The only thing on top of the page is a navigation bar.  Any ideas on how I can get the menu bar up so I can take snapshots?  I believe there is also suppose to be a side menu bar, missing that too!  Please help!

Hi Pepmav, you are probably on the new viewer that has basic and advanced modes, log out and log back in on advanced mode.
