permissions question

i have an object that is full perms in my inventory but when i rez it it becomes no copy/no mod because of the animations and scripts.

if i were to use this in a holodeck would it be lost on the first rez or would it stay in the object inventory?

More than likely the creator set the permissions while the object was still an item in inventory.  Note these two pictures.  I changed the permissions while it was an "item" in inventory.  The  *  next to the letter 'N' indicates this ('N' is for next owner) and that the permission will be applied when the object is rezzed.  Do not delete this item.  If you delete it and should lose the object after rezzing you will have to repurchase it.  You can read more about this in the wiki:   http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Viewerhelp:Permissions

It is also possible you are dealing with nested permissions.  My bad on my first answer.  Regardless, do not delete the original 'full perm' from your inventory.  Otherwise you can risk losing the item forever.
