why are things rezzing so slowly

Wondering why I am having big delays in chat, changing clothes, transporting.  Been happening for about 2 weeks.  I use SINGULARITY viewer and have not had these problems in a long time.  ( I really like this viewer) Today my skin and clothing wouldnt even rez and i had to keep signing off and on - or click on "appearance" and get skin to show up.  any clues ?- and also keep losing music feed in every venue i go to.  THis is a new problem in the last few weeks but getting worse.  Computer is just a year old -  Changing clothes and transporting is getting to be a real pain.

Improve the performance of your Internet connection:-

• Try a wired connection to your router
• Avoid high-bandwidth applications (e.g. Torrents) while using Second Life
• Avoid connection sharing while using Second Life
• Make sure nothing's getting held up at your Firewall or router
• Keep your network clean and healthy
