will the rolling restart prevent me from connecting to the region?

I was able to get in with no issues last nigt, tonight I get stuck on connecting to region..it has set there for over 30 minutes now and counting.  Any suggestions?

Sometimes sims need to be restarted for other reasons (or they don't come back up properly after the rolling restart).  Try logging into a different sim.  You can look in the destination guide to find another location to log into.  

After you get inworld try TP'ing to your home region - if you're still not able to connect, if you rent, contact the landlord or estate agent, otherwise, file a support ticket to have the sim restarted.
