Why would a friend's name not be on my list through the dashboard but clearly shows inworld?

I have a friend who's name does not show up on my friends list when viewing the list through the dashboard but when i log in, I can clearly see their name on my list. I have arleady checked to see if their calling card is in my inventory and it is there. How is this possible?

The friend assures me that they havent removed my name from there list.

Please explain this.

BUG-3104 - When hiding your online status from a friend, the dashboard no longer shows you as offline to your friend. Instead it removes you totally from their friends list on their dashboard.
