Question

Since many of us prefer the prim tanned skin, will Linden Labs create adjustments in the torso section, if we wear the physics it tends to flatten out in areas so to have the option of 'adjust firmness' would be great for many of us whetther it being rounder or less rounder, some of us wish to look more hollywood

Hi Harley!

I'm not quite sure what you mean...there is no such thing as "prim skin".

There is the Classic avatar body.  You can apply skin textures to this, and it adjusts shape with the Appearance sliders.  You can make the breasts quite large, but at extreme settings they can start to look "blocky."  An avatar physics layer may be worn with this, and it will make your breasts, belly, and butt jiggle.

If you want larger breasts without the "blocky" look, there are add-on mesh breasts you can wear, like the popular Lolas Tangos.  Many skin makers sell (or give away) "appliers" for these so you can match the skin texture to the skin of your classic avatar.

You can also wear a full mesh body.  When you do, you wear an alpha mask layer that hides your classic avatar body from the neck down.  Mesh bodies are generally "fitted mesh" and can be adjusted with the Appearance sliders (although some of the sliders will not have as much effect as they do on the classic body alone.)  Fitted mesh also responds to an avatar physics layer, to give you a realistic bounce.

Some mesh bodies are more full-figured than others.  For reviews of mesh bodies (and heads) see the Mesh Body Addicts blog.  Many skin makers sell skins that are compatible with the major brands of mesh bodies.

Soon, additional "bones" will be added to the Second Life avatar.  These will provide a lot more flexibility in what you can do, both in terms of creating your shape, and in animating things like facial expressions and hand gestures.  They will also support things like non-human avatars, wings, and tails.  For more on this, Google "Project Bento."
