Well, I am willing to bet that what you did was to place a Limit Buy order for L$.  You set a specific price and now you are waiting for someone to come along who is willing to sell L$ at that price.  The problem is that you set your offering price too low, so it will be a long time before someone is that desperate.  Maybe forever.

This is a currency exchange, not a shop.  If you wanted to buy your L$ outright, at whatever price the current market is willing to sell them for, you should have placed a Market Buy order.
