ben Mistwalker Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 midday settings not fixed, even though they are set in the SL viewer environment settings as custom default settings. They are still changing. version Second Life 5.0.0.320160 (Second Life Release)
0 Amethyst Jetaime Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Unfortunately you have to choose midday each time you visit a new place where it is not midday in the SL viewer, even in Firestorm. I agree it would be nice to have a choice to fix midday where ever you go. 1
0 Whirly Fizzle Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 This change of always reverting to region settings after relog is intentional in the LL viewer - see Grumpity Linden's comment on BUG-8739. However, good news! You can still revert back to the old behaviour. If you do not have the Advanced menu active in the top menu bar of the viewer, use CTRL+ALT+D to activate it. Then Advanced -> Debug Settings -> Set EnvironmentPersistAcrossLogin to TRUE. If you set your local windlight to midday it should now stick on that setting on all regions and after relogging. 1
