Where can I get a clean version of SL? Each time I download it my anti virus kicks in and stops it.

The viewers that you download from Linden Lab's own site are virus free.  However, several antivirus and firewall programs can mistakenly flag the SL viewer, Firestorm, and others incorrectly as malware, keeping you from logging in. Others are unnecessarily aggressive, inspecting every single image that your computer downloads as you move around in SL.  As a result, your CPU usage can climb so high that the computer grinds to a halt. I will add that it is best if you white-list both the viewer's install folder and cache. While it may sound risky, remember, the files coming from SL have already been scanned on their end when the files were uploaded.
