Read https://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Buying-and-selling-Linden-dollars/ta-p/700107#Section_.1.2 very carefully.  As Alwin says, if you offered to buy L$ at a price that was ridiculously low, it will be a very long time before someone is willing to sell to you.  It would be smart to cancel your Limit Buy order and use a Market Buy instead.
