You cannot use the LindeX unless you have registered a payment method. I'd recommend getting a verified PayPal or Skrill account, since that's the only the only way you can cash out anything from the USD balance in your account.

As Rolig says, you MUST register a payment method, even if you intend never to use it.

Register a major credit card, or a verified PayPal or Skrill account.

Now if you don't want that payment method to be charged:

• Sell some $L.  The proceeds will go into your $USD Balance
• When your Premium dues, or other charges from LL come due, LL will first take money from your $USD balance.  If there is enough there, fine!  Your payment method will not be charged.
• If there isn't enough money in your $USD Balance, LL will charge your payment method for the difference.
