I am totally new to SL and need some step by step guidiance; any Ideas?

Are you on the new Basic Mode viewer?

That doesn`t have all the features at the same time so that you don`t get overwhelmed. Once you are confident with the options that it does have you can log out and log back in on advanced mode which has the full features.

If you ARE on the basic-mode viewer click the 'destinations' button at the bottom of the screen.  Then click on the 'new user' category and New Citizens Inc.  That's a great help area, where they'll talk you through everything you need.  And provide more freebies than you even imagined ^^

With the 'advanced' mode, or a normal viewer, teleport to Kuula, it's the same place
