I can't put on profile picture on my profile. It's the new one where it goes to the net.

What exactly is happening or not happening? You need to have the picture that you want to use on your HD and you browse for it to use.

If you know how it is supposed to be work but it is not doing what it is supposed to, you can always login on another viewer such as Phoenix and edit your profile in the old fashioned way :)

You have not added a profile picture, or anything else, to your forum profile, either.  I don't know how to update viewer2 profiles for the web, but I can give some assistance in your forum profile configuration; it may come in handy if you continue posting.

Click on MySettings in the upper right hand corner; both the avatar and social media tabs will assist you in profile pictures.

Viewer 2 no longer requires you to first upload (and pay for) an image to drag from your SL inventory, to your profile. Now, you can simply and easily upload pictures to your profile, at no cost, directly from your computer.

  1. Point your browser at http://my.secondlife.com/jeffery.peretz
  2. Make sure you're logged in
  3. Click the green "Edit Profile" button
  4. At the top under "Profile Picture" you should see options to add/change/or remove an image.
  5. Locate and select the image you want to use in your profile by pressing "Browse" and then "Upload"
  6. Press the orange "Save" button on the Edit Profile page
  7. Enjoy

If you have a full-permissions picture in your second life inventory that you wish to use for your profile, simply double-click the image to open it, and select "Save As", which will allow you to save the image to your computer, after which you can upload it to your profile as described above.

I have the exact same problem.  I had a textured image which I converted to JPEG.  and I tried to update my profile picture but I get the same message "access DeniedInvalid accoring to Policy.  Policy Expired"A9DF29D6D4FCB36Be2571+CTFueHHSNqPoSrq3MZ4FNwUYDNRI7v3kNBMrj5/NF94Zm3qjPwZtdFJz86"

It is VERY frustrating.  Does anyone have any idea what to do?
