Question about deeded property

If my group were to open a shop on the deeded land, would we need to have customers etc, join a different group - or is having just the basic member role with only chat permissions okay?

You can do it either way, and also swap it over later.

It saves you one group slot if you combine, but you have to get your security right by not allowing rezzing and object entry and use wear to unpack scripts instead.
