Since its not allowed to mention names here (its considered as advertising, specially if I would mention my own group or business) I will not mention specific people or names but want to offer you few tips... 

Forget SL forums and focus more on other websites, Flickr is good, Google too. You can search for SL modelling agencies, inform yourself about the courses they offer and once you graduate you will become a certified model. Then you can get gigs and pose for various photographers, walk the shows... fight lag
