logging in failed

when ever I log in it takes forever and then it says log In failed it doesn't even go into the game it just says logging in and then after 20 mins it says log in failed and i should check my firewall. i turned of my firewall but still nothing happend so i downloaded firetorm but the same problem happend ;-;

There's obviously something wrong with your Internet connection.  The firewall was a good guess. Your anti-virus program would be another possibility.  You should make exceptions for SL in both of them.  It's hard to make any better guesses without knowing more about your computer and how it is connected to the Internet, but I would try

1. rebooting both your router and your modem and restarting everything.

2. getting off of wireless (neither recommended or supported by Linden Lab)

3. reading through a couple of lists of suggestions to see things that might apply to your situation:
