As Innula already posted, you can go buy a potion to drink that will free your ( not real but rp, soul) from the one that did bite you.

But you will never get your soul back.

The only thing you can do to hide your name from the bloodline database, is wear the garlic necklace and activate it.

You can find this for free at the MP or also at several places inworld.

it is not possible to get your soul back, with wormwood you only make that the ownership of your soul goes to the next one that bites you

quote from BL pages:

The Wormwood Potion can be used to rescue a soul from Limbo. An avatar's soul will be in Limbo if they have been bitten, but have not joined Bloodlines. Once they drink the Wormwood Potion, their soul will be rescued from Limbo, and will be promised to the next person to bite them. The soul will be delivered once they register for Bloodlines.

I think it's the Hemlock potion that's needed here. According to the Bloodlines Wiki, Hemlock "can be used to rescue a soul from the Abyss. A soul is in the Abyss if it was collected by someone who was subsequently destroyed. After a the avatar whose soul is in the Abyss drinks the Hemlock, their soul will go to the next person to bite them". I think if someone leaves the game, they are "destroyed" in Bloodlines terms because they haven't drunk any blood for a while, so the souls they had collected go into the Abyss. But it's really a question for a Bloodlines group, I think.

That takes you out of the game completely though, I think.

The OP wants to continue to play, but can't since whoever bit him or her previously is no longer about. The Hemlock potion seems to restore you to the position of anyone who has not been bitten before -- your soul goes to the next player who bites you. Or am I misunderstanding it?

the soul indeed goes to the next player when bitten, but the status will be "saved form abyss" and "next one that bites gets it" but will not return to the victim.

btw you will not be fully in game before you own one of the huds.

But the biting can never be undone, only the one who gets the soul after joining.

This is all so complicated...it's what comes of trying to make rules for vampires.  I mean, when Dr. Van Helsing slew Dracula, did all of Vlad's fledglings start moaning, "oh, who will save my soul now?  The Master is no more!"  Did they start leafing through rulebooks or searching the web?  No, they just carried on slaying the stupid humans.

This is why I contend that vampires don't need a game or a HUD or any stinkin' rules.  A vampire is a soulless undead creature who sustains its existence by serial murder.  If you wish to be like that, just go ahead and roleplay it.  Or become an IRS agent, either is equally effective.

They really should flip the business model on this one - and require the game members who have 'taken' souls to buy a ritual potion every week or so for each soul they have, to hold onto it...

It has always felt like the business model for Bloodlines is funded on the idea of panicked newbies thinking they need to buy something to 'get away' from the game... rather than what more 'clean' businesses do and charge the gamers to play the game...

Especially now that there aren't as many gullible noobs as there used to be... this old predatory model can't be as profitable as it once was...

Breedables have the right of it... charge people to be able to keep playing... rather than charge people to be able to 'block / avoid' you you haven't yet learned they can just ignore you...
